How to become a Staff Engineer

There are many paths to becoming a Staff Engineer. The most common path is to first become a licensed Professional Engineer (PE). To do this, you will need to earn a bachelor's degree in engineering from an accredited engineering program, pass the Fundamentals of Engineering (FE) exam, and then gain four years of professional engineering experience.
