A human resources assistant helps with the recruitment and selection of employees, as well as the onboarding process. They may also help with employee benefits and relations.

Human Resources Assistant job duties include:

  • Answer employee questions and requests regarding company policies, procedures, and benefits

Human Resources Assistant Job Requirements

Many employers prefer candidates who have completed a certified professional program in human resources. Prior experience working in human resources or a related field is often required or preferred. Strong computer skills, including experience with HRIS systems, and excellent communication and customer service skills are essential for this position.
