Flight Engineer job duties include:

Flight Engineer Job Requirements

How to become a Flight Engineer
A Flight Engineer is responsible for the overall operation and maintenance of an aircraft. They are in charge of monitoring all systems on the aircraft, as well as troubleshooting any problems that may arise. Flight Engineers must have a strong understanding of aviation mechanics and be able to think quickly in order to solve problems.
To become a Flight Engineer, one must first obtain a commercial pilot’s license. Then, they must complete training at an FAA-approved school. After completing training, Flight Engineers must pass a written exam and an oral exam administered by the FAA.
