What does an Assistant Spa Manager do?

An assistant spa manager is responsible for the day-to-day operations of a spa. They work closely with the spa manager to ensure that all guests have a positive experience and that the spa is running smoothly. They may also be responsible for scheduling appointments, managing staff, and handling customer service issues.
Assistant Spa Manager job duties include:
- Assist the Spa Manager in all aspects of spa operations including, but not limited to, staffing, scheduling, training, product ordering and inventory control
- Assist in developing and implementing promotional and marketing initiatives
- Achieve or exceed budgeted revenues and expenses
- Ensure that all guests receive prompt, professional and courteous service at all times
- Handle guest complaints in a professional and efficient manner
- Monitor cleanliness and maintenance of all spa areas and equipment
- Supervise spa staff and provide on-going training as needed
- Perform spa treatments as needed or requested
- Other duties as assigned
