How to become a Superintendent

The Superintendent is the chief academic officer of a school district. They are responsible for the educational progress of all students in the district and oversee the operations of the schools. Superintendents work with principals, teachers, and other staff to ensure that district policies are followed and that schools are providing a quality education to their students.

To become a Superintendent, one must first earn a bachelor’s degree from an accredited college or university.
