How to become a Security Supervisor

The first step to becoming a security supervisor is to have a high school diploma or equivalent. Many employers prefer applicants who have some experience working in security, but it is not always required. Once you have the necessary education and experience, the next step is to complete a training program specific to security supervisors. These programs are typically offered by community colleges or vocational schools and take between six and twelve weeks to complete.
