Most web architects have several years of experience working in the computer and information technology field before being promoted to this position.

How to become a Web Architect
There is no one-size-fits-all answer to becoming a web architect, as the role requires both technical and creative skills. However, there are some key steps that can help you on your way.
Firstly, it is important to have a strong understanding of web development fundamentals. This means being able to code in HTML, CSS and JavaScript, and having a good grasp of server-side technologies such as PHP, Ruby on Rails or Node.js. Secondly, you will need to be able to design and build user interfaces that are both effective and visually appealing. This means having a keen eye for detail and an understanding of user experience (UX) principles.
Thirdly, you will need to be able to plan and manage complex web projects from start to finish. This includes being able to scope out requirements, create detailed project plans and timelines, and coordinate with teams of developers, designers and other stakeholders. And fourthly, you will need excellent communication skills in order to effectively communicate your vision for a project to clients or colleagues.
If you can tick all of these boxes, then you’re well on your way to becoming a web architect. However, it’s also worth noting that experience counts for a lot in this field – so don’t be discouraged if it takes some time to get there.
