What does a UI Designer do?

A user interface (UI) designer creates and designs user interfaces for websites and applications. How to become a UI Designer
There is no one specific path to becoming a UI Designer, but there are definitely some skills and qualities that will help you on the way. Firstly, it's important to have a strong foundation in visual design principles. This means having a good eye for color, composition and typography. Secondly, it's helpful to be proficient in industry-standard design software such as Photoshop, Illustrator and Sketch. Thirdly, it's important to have a good understanding of user experience (UX) principles, so that you can design interfaces that are both visually appealing and user-friendly. Finally, it's also beneficial to have some coding skills, so that you can understand how your designs will be implemented by developers.
If you have all of these skills and qualities, then you're well on your way to becoming a UI Designer. However, even if you don't have all of them, don't worry – there are plenty of ways to learn. There are many online courses and tutorials that can teach you the basics of visual design and UX principles.
