Senior Electrical Engineers typically have a bachelor's degree in electrical engineering and several years of experience in the field.

How to become a Senior Electrical Engineer
In order to become a Senior Electrical Engineer, one must first obtain a bachelor's degree in electrical engineering from an accredited college or university. After completing an undergraduate program, many individuals choose to pursue a master's degree in electrical engineering. However, this is not required in order to become a Senior Electrical Engineer. Once an individual has obtained their degree, they must then pass the Fundamentals of Engineering (FE) exam. After passing the FE exam, the individual can then apply for their Professional Engineering (PE) license. Once the individual has obtained their PE license, they can then apply for positions as a Senior Electrical Engineer.
