Psychologist Job Requirements
A Psychologist must have a Ph.D. in Psychology from an accredited institution. They must also complete a one-year internship as part of their doctoral program. After completing their education and internship, a Psychologist must pass a state-licensed exam in order to practice. Some states require Psychologists to complete continuing education credits in order to maintain their license.
