What does a Jailer do?

A jailer is responsible for the safety and security of inmates in a jail or prison. They are responsible for supervising inmates, maintaining order, and enforcing rules and regulations. Jailers may also be responsible for providing basic needs for inmates, such as meals and medical care.

How to become a Jailer

Once all of these steps have been completed, one is then eligible to apply for a position as a jailer.
