What does a Client Executive do?

A Client Executive is responsible for maintaining and expanding relationships with key clients. They work to understand the client's business needs and develop solutions that address those needs. Client Executives also work with other members of their team to ensure that the client is receiving the best possible service.
Client Executive job duties include:
- Act as the primary point of contact for assigned clients
- Build and maintain strong, long-lasting client relationships
- Negotiate contracts and close agreements to maximize profits
- Develop trusted advisor relationships with key accounts, customer stakeholders and executive sponsors
- Ensure the timely and successful delivery of our solutions according to customer needs and objectives
- Clearly communicate the progress of monthly/quarterly initiatives to internal and external stakeholders
- Develop new business with existing clients and/or identify areas of improvement to exceed sales quotas
- Forecast and track key account metrics (e.g. quarterly sales results and annual forecasts)
- Prepare reports on account status
Client Executive Job Requirements
A Client Executive is responsible for developing and maintaining relationships with clients. They work to understand the client’s needs and provide solutions that meet those needs. Client Executives must have a bachelor’s degree in business or a related field. They should also have experience working in customer service or sales. Certification in project management is also beneficial.
