How to become an HVAC Project Engineer
In order to become an HVAC project engineer, one must first earn a bachelor's degree in mechanical engineering from an accredited university. Once the student has completed their undergraduate studies, they should then take and pass the Fundamentals of Engineering (FE) exam. After passing the FE exam, the student can then apply for a professional engineering license in their state. Finally, after obtaining their engineering license, the student can then apply for jobs as an HVAC project engineer.
