What does a Filenet Developer do?

A Filenet Developer is responsible for the development and maintenance of applications based on the Filenet platform. They work with business analysts and users to understand requirements and design solutions that meet those needs. Filenet Developers also write and maintain code, create and maintain documentation, and perform unit testing. In addition, they may be responsible for providing support to users and troubleshooting issues.

- Develop detailed specifications from which programs will be written.
- Serve as a technical lead on projects; may supervise other staff.
- Perform feasibility studies for new technical approaches.
- Identify technical risks and provides mitigation strategies.
- Stay abreast of new technology developments
Filenet Developer Job Requirements
A Filenet Developer should have a Bachelor's degree in computer science or related field. They should also have experience with Java and J2EE technologies. Certification in Filenet is not required, but may be helpful.
